The HASLMS recognizes that our Media Specialists at every level work very hard for their students, administration, peers and community. Some are selected by their schools as Teacher of the Year and Ida. S. Baker Award recipient. We congratulate them for their outstanding contributions to their school and their library media programs in Hillsborough County Public Schools. The HASLMS Board of Directors recognize that the School Library Media Specialist is a unique position that requires one to wear many hats. At each school the job may look different, all of them strive to meet the needs of their school's population, administration, and community. It is a position which promotes a life-long love of reading, digital citizenship and leadership. Thank you for all you do everyday!
