HASLMS Media Center Mini-Grants
HASLMS annually awards mini-grants of $400 each to members with the best proposals based on the following criteria: need/background, program goals & objectives, program activities, program evaluation, budget plan and relevance to the school and library media program mission. 2024-25 HASLMS Mini-Grants Grant application information was shared by HASLMS to the HCPS Media Specialists conference. For the 2024-25 school year, four $400 mini-grants will be awarded. Applications deadlines are communicated directly to media specialists via the HASLMS Teams channel.. |

HASLMS Professional Sponsorship Grants
Members wishing to attend the annual FAME Conference in Orlando can apply for one of four $130 sponsorships to offset the costs of registration and/or travel. Sponsorship recipients must be a members of HASLMS, attend the September general meeting and share their experience and learning from FAME during the January HASLMS meeting.

Theresa Miller Grant for LGBTQ Collection Development
This purpose of this grant is to improve LGBTQ collection development in schools. Applicants completed an application, discussed the resources they would purchase and explained how they would promote them in their schools. This grant is funded through the generosity of retired HCPS library media specialist & HASLMS member, Teresa Miller.
