HASLMS' social chair, Josh Newhouse of Sligh MS, hosted a fantastic event for HASLMS members at the Florida Association for Media in Education 2017 conference in Orlando, FL.  Hors d'oeuvres & camaraderie were on the menu.  The FAME annual conference is the most comprehensive professional learning opportunity specifically designed for school library media specialists in the state of Florida.  The HASLMS social, held on the 2nd night of the conference, provides all of the Hillsborough library media specialists space and time to engage with each other in professional & personal conversation.  What a great way to share learning, decompress & plan for the last day of conference!
